A New Ecommerce Website for Spinning Weal in Clevedon
We created this responsive website with an integrated online shop for Clevedon based store Spinning Weal.
The Project
Spinning Weal is a textile craft shop in Clevedon. Their store is a real find – set in a pretty street of small independent shops, near to Clevedon’s Grade One listed Pier, you enter to find a treasure trove of materials and equipment for knitters, quilters, embroiderers, spinners, and felt makers.
Coming to it’seeze Bristol, they required a refresh of their existing website, which would reflect the unique appeal of their shop, and allow them to access and update their online shop more easily.
Spinning Weal were also after a responsive website which would allow customers to access their site from any device.
The Outcome
Spinning Weal have a brilliant, modern logo with a down-to-earth feel to it, which we have reflected throughout the site through the use of muted colours and plush textures.
We used their preferred colours of blue and cream, and then incorporated some clean greys to create a high-end, pastel look.
The new website allows their customers to browse the online shop and purchase courses and classes online, as well as a number of project packages which make ideal gifts. We have trained the owners in the use of the CMS (Content Management System) and they now find editing their website and adding new items to the online shop far easier than before.
