A Bilingual Responsive Website for Ashmole & Co. Accountants
One of our latest websites to go live is this English and Welsh website for accountants Ashmole & Co.
The Project
Ashmole & Co have been established since 1897 and are one of the largest firms of accountants in South Wales. Their existing website was content rich, but was outdated and lacked appeal. They required a complete redesign, although wished to keep the existing branding, asking us to provide a new responsive, bilingual website which would meet the needs of both their English and Welsh speaking clients.
Part of the consultancy process included helping Ashmole & Co develop the content for their website so that it was suitable for their audience. They expressed a preference for a horizontal navigation system, so we suggested a content structure which displayed well using this navigation, even when using the Welsh page names which were somewhat longer than their English equivalents!
The Outcome
The result was an easily navigable website with a clean, fresh design. A button on both the navigation and the banner allows the user to switch easily between the English and Welsh language versions of the website.
The responsive web design allows the site to adapt to any screen size, so iPhone, iPad and mobile users can all read the website easily and efficiently.
We also support Ashmole & Co by updating their site for them on a regular basis.
